Simple Homemade Banana Bread

- 4 Bananas
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 cup Flour
Optional Crumb Topping
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
Preheat oven to 350. Grease two bread pans.
Mash 4 bananas in skillet over medium heat. Bring to a boil and add 1 tsp of baking soda. Mix well. Set aside to cool.
Mix 1/2 cup of butter and 1 cup of sugar in mixer.
Add 2 eggs and 1 tsp of vanilla. Mix well.
Slowly add 2 cups of flour to mixture. Do not over mix.
Add an additional toppings such as chocolate chips, blueberries, or walnuts. Additional toppings should total 1 cup.
Pour batter evenly into two greased bread pans.
Add optional crumb topping before placing in oven.
Bake for 50-60 minutes.
