Ingredients

  • 4 Bananas
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 cup Flour

Optional Crumb Topping

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350. Grease two bread pans.
  • Mash 4 bananas in skillet over medium heat. Bring to a boil and add 1 tsp of baking soda. Mix well. Set aside to cool.
  • Mix 1/2 cup of butter and 1 cup of sugar in mixer.
  • Add 2 eggs and 1 tsp of vanilla. Mix well.
  • Slowly add 2 cups of flour to mixture. Do not over mix.
  • Add an additional toppings such as chocolate chips, blueberries, or walnuts. Additional toppings should total 1 cup.
  • Pour batter evenly into two greased bread pans.
  • Add optional crumb topping before placing in oven.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes.
